Let me put to you this way, I don't care what the sommelier or manager or anyone else thinks. I AM NOT PAYING $30 for a $8 bottle of wine. I am happy to pay a corkage fee, but I am not going to pay $100 for a $30 bottle. If they don't like it, then say so and I won't go there. If they need to sell at these prices to make money, charge more for the food. If they want me to buy wine, charge $40 for a $30 bottle.
