Orca shows banned at SeaWorld; Ringling Bros. Circus belly-up; greyhound racing outlawed in Florida via ballot initiative (2018). Can rodeo be far behind?
There's a crying need for local, state and federal legislation to outlaw this cruelty. Rodeo is condemned by nearly EVERY animal welfare organization in North America. Rodeo was banned in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales) in 1934.
The U.S. should follow suit. Until that happy day, BOYCOTT ALL RODEOS AND THEIR CORPORATE SPONSORS AND ADVERTISERS. Follow the money.

Re: “Citizen Revolt: July 2”
Rodeos are condemned by EVERY animal welfare organization in North America due to their inherent cruelty. Legislation is in order: local, state, federal. The United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales) outlawed rodeos back in 1934. Can the U.S. be far behind?
Lest we forget, this godawful pandemic was HUMAN-caused, a direct result of our gross mistreatment of animals, both wild and domestic. Rodeo should be considered in the same light. For most of these abused animals, the rodeo arena is merely a detour en route to the slaughterhouse.
