Re: “Box Elder County's Broken Court

Im an upstanding citizen whos never been on the wrong side of the law in my life until I got a speeding ticket. I went before this so called judge to try and work out a payment plan. It is usually the norm to be able to get a payment plan so I wasnt asking for anything out of the ordinary. He actually suggested that I get a second job after I told him that I already work about 50 hours a week. He told me to ask my family and friends for a loan and then make payments to them instead of making payments to the court. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. He was beyond disrespectful and Im supposed to have respect for him?

He asked if I had a college degree. I told him that I did and that I worked using my degree. He told me that I should have chosen a different field so that I would actually be able to support myself after I already told him that I work a full time job and all my bills are paid every month. I just didnt have all the money lying around to pay the ticket right away.

Ill definitely be voting in against him in the next election and every year until he is removed and a lot of my friends and family will be doing the same. Maybe if he lost his job hed learn a little compassion but Im not holding my breath.

He was over paid in his salary and he cried ignorance and was allowed to pay it back over a period of time. Dont lecture me when you cant even do the same thing yourself. Maybe he should have gotten a second job and asked his family and friends for a loan and paid back the citizens of Box Elder County immediately. Hes the prime example of a corrupt system.
