This is such a completely unique oasis and it cries out to be preserved. There is so little natural space in our city now, that humans have not "improved," that surely some well-to-do philanthropist sees the value of preserving this one from rapacious developers! Or maybe a big developer will buy it and leave it alone, to make up for despoiling other "promising" sites!
