The facts are the facts, and being properly educated is important when it comes to big decisions such as this. The fact is, doctors can NOT prescribe marijuana- not anywhere! They can prescribe Marinol, which contains a synthetic form of THC. It lacks the multiple other natural canabinoids in Marijuana which, in thousands of evidence-based research studies have been shown to make Marijuana superior to Marinol in treating a multitude of ailments.
Also, you can NOT buy Marijuana over the counter! That is actually a ridiculous notion and it will likely never, ever be sold that way anywhere. That statement implies that you can walk into Walmart and take a bottle of weed off the shelf and run it through the register. The fact is, even states that have legalized Marijuana both medicinally and recreationally require tight regulation and sale of it by very specific people and facilities. The fact is, you CAN buy CBD oil over the counter, and I say that lightly, because you still have to get it from very specific places. But once again, CBD is just one of the ingredients in Marijuana that effect the myriad of illnesses it is used for. In addition, CBD oil is not regulated in states without medical marijuana legislation, and often people are not even getting what they pay for, but getting snake oil instead, which mimics the consistency of CBD oil. Legislation will allow tighter regulation of products such as this in order to authenticate it and protect consumers.
Like I said, there are literally thousands of research studies available that can help disseminate the facts. And, the facts are what is important in this decision.
I have no agenda, I dont use marijuana or any relative product. Im just interested in fact sharing.
