While working on her MBA, Jessica Garcia founded Jessie’s Lingerie in Park City. It allows her to pursue her quest for the perfectly fitting bra.
nnWhen women are properly fitted for a bra, normally do they find they need a larger one?
nnNot necessarily larger but the majority do need a different bra. The most important thing is to buy a bra that fits'women really need to bring “the girls” up with a great bra. Sagging girls are not happy girls.
nnWhat are the latest trends in lingerie?
nnT-shirt bras. So many women’s fashions are of a stretch-knit fabric. Without this type of bra, protruding nipples and bumps and bulges can be a problem. Also, bras with interchangeable straps; fashion corsets; and matching bra/panty, cami/panty or corset print sets.
nnWhat lingerie item do men most often buy for women?
nnAnything see-through, crotchless or remote-control vibrating panties.
nnWhat about men who buy bras for themselves: Are they usually cross-dressers or do they have breast implants?
nnBoth. Some men need help with lift while others just want to dress up for their own or their partners’ pleasure. Four to eight percent of my clients who have been sized for bras are men.
nnYour store also offers striptease classes. Who usually signs up?
nnWomen who want to learn how to maximize and finesse their persuasiveness in the bedroom. They don’t want to fall on their asses while their trying to role-play for their partners. It takes forethought and a little planning to pull something like striptease off.
nnWhat would you recommend someone do with lingerie items that remind her or him of a former love?
nnGive them up. No need to hold onto those memories. Try a consignment shop, give them away or make a quilt. New loves deserve new lingerie.
