City Weekly is pleased to host the 2nd Annual Miss City Weekly Pride Pageant on Thursday, June 2 at Bar Deluxe. This event was a huge success in 2010, so we're bringing it back this summer bigger and better than ever! RSVP on Facebook

The Miss City Weekly Pride Pageant was introduced to Salt Lake City in 2010 as part of City Weekly's involvement with and support of Utah Pride Festival and Parade. The pageant will highlight the most beautiful, talented and outrageous drag personalities in Utah as they compete for the title of Miss City Weekly 2011. It's a huge party celebrating Utah's diversity and spark!

BECOME A CONTESTANT
City Weekly is currently accepting contestant applications. The contest is currently open to drag queens, men performing in female roles, who are 21 years old or older and are Utah residents. All styles of drag please apply.

  • As Miss City Weekly 2011 up will receive the following:
  • Cash and prizes, including a crown and sash.
  • Appear in the Utah Pride Parade on Sunday, June 5 as star of Salt Lake City Weekly’s float.
  • Represent Salt Lake City Weekly during the following year as Miss City Weekly. This may include event appearances, performance opportunities, blogging, videos and more.

To apply: Download the contestant application form here. Return applications, along with photos, bio and video link to Manda Bull at abull@cityweekly.net. Contest applications are due on Monday, May 23 at Noon.
