Ogden's Own Distillery, makers of Five Wives Vodka, temporarily gets into the hand sanitizer biz.
Fans of the company’s spirits, places like the Ogden Clinic, police entities and even the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (DABC) have expressed interest in the sanitizer.

A longtime fan of Bonny Doon wines and winemaker/philosopher/wordsmith/raconteur Randall Grahm, I especially like his Bonny Doon Clos de Gilroy ($19). As Grahm puts it, Clos de Gilroy isn't made from the "weapons-grade Grenache" that he uses to produce Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant.

The married couple behind the new business is going a little more old-school with their techniques, creating gin, rum and a few other surprises that will taste like nothing else being produced in Utah.
