A slow weekend at the movies offers a Sundance-favorite documentary, the return of Madea and an American jazz band's journey to another country.

Apollo 11 (pictured) manages a you-are-there intensity from archival footage of a 50-year-old historical milestone. A Tuba to Cuba tries to pack a few too many ideas into its musical travelogue with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Eric D. Snider endures the now-predictable blend of excruciating and baffling in  Tyler Perry's A Madea Family Funeral.

In this week's feature review, Greta tries unsuccessfully to recapture that menace of 1990s "from hell" psychological thrillers.
