A trio of very different sequels hit multiplexes this weekend, while the art house selection presents a very different kind of trio.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again  (pictured) offers a funky mix of sequel and prequel that's also a less blatant grasp at nostalgia than the original. The documentary Three Identical Strangers lays out an unbelievable true story of separated-at-birth triplets.

David Riedel finds The Equalizer 2 delivering some good killin', but the vengeful violence grows a bit predictable.

Eric D. Snider is fine going along with the horror fun ride of Unfriended: Dark Web, though it's not as freaky as it seems convinced it is.

In this week's feature, check out capsule reviews of 10 features from the Damn These Heels LGBTQ Film Festival.
