While Black Panther still looks to dominate the box office, new releases include heady science fiction, broad comedy and one unique teen romance.

Director Alex Garland's Annihilation (pictured) combines the DNA of multiple cinematic sci-fi classics for something uniquely fascinating. The teen romantic fantasy Every Day can't capture the profundity of its source material's fundamentally unfilmable premise.

In this week's feature review, Eric D. Snider finds a fundamental good-naturedness elevating the high concept of friends unexpectedly playing for keeps in Game Night.
