Hello to all you gown-wearing, tux-renting, cake-buying, venue-renting, friend-mailing, off-to-the-chapel enthusiasts! So... I'm single. Been that way off-and-on for my adulthood, never married, no kids, considered to be elderly by anyone who has never left the state for more than a couple hours to see Wendover. The short of it is that marriage isn't in the cards for me (probably for life), which means I have more free time to do more things I want to do until cancer, a heart attack or loneliness kill me. So it's an interesting plateau to be on at the age I'm at, where I'm seeing one group of friends get married at a more mature level, while another group of friends
are lining up for divorce after marrying too early and realizing they fucked up.
The reason I'm giving you a peek into the kaleidoscope that is my life is because over the past 48 hours I've attended three weddings, with a fourth on the way on Sunday. So sitting down and doing my usual Saturday post didn't really come to fruition. So below is a list of events you should check out over the next couple of weeks, and then after another four weddings pass by next week, we can get back to our regularly scheduled programming. Enjoy some downtown art and we'll pick this up on Monday with a new band interview!
