Wine Wednesday: Soter Vineyards Winemaker Dinner

One of the most talented winemakers I've had the pleasure to meet is James Cahill of Oregon's Soter Vineyards. If you haven't tried Soter wines yet, it's time to do so.
You'll be able to do that at next week's Soter Vineyards Winemaker Dinner: Tuesday, August 18th at BTG Wine Bar.
James Cahill will be in attendance and will guide attendees through a tasting of Soter Mineral Springs Ranch Brut Rose 2010 (hand-riddled by James and his team); Planet Oregon 2014 Chardonnay (a just-released project, certified organic and sustainable); North Valley 2012 Pinot Noir (an artisan blend from the sub-appellations of the Willamette Valley; and Soter Mineral Springs "White Label" 2009 Pinot Noir (the crown jewel of Soter Vineyards).
The dinner menu includes:
Polenta muffin topped with grilled shrimp and orange salad
"Feijoada" - black bean puree with rice ball, topped with crispy pork belly
Prosciutto-wrapped rabbit loin stuffed with spinach, mushrooms & cheese
The cost for dinner is $26, plus $30 for the optional wine pairings.
