What’s ending on the tube tonight:

Parks & Recreation (NBC) Series Finale: How’s NBC sending off beloved comedy Parks & Recreation? By pushing the final episode to a later timeslot to make way for the karaoke carnage of The Voice—way to fuck up to the end, geniuses. And nevermind what I said in January about the seventh season of Parks & Rec being unnecessary; as series finales go, it's been a wonderfully weird trip for NBC's Last Great Comedy (trust me, there’s nothing funny coming in the pipeline from The Peacock anytime soon). So long, Leslie, Ron, Ben, April, Andy, Donna, Jerry/Garry, Ann, Chris—hell, maybe even Tom, as I someday hope to work at Entertainment 7Twenty.

Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC) Season/Maybe Series Finale: It’s been a gas and that Peggy Carter is a swell dame, but chances are about 50/50 for a second season of Marvel’s Agent Carter. Then again, if they keep it limited to eight episodes as an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. placeholder (read: lowered ratings expectations), Haley Atwell may be back to battle evil and 1940s misogyny again next year. Excelsior!

Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (Bravo) Season Finale: Expectations were low for Bravo’s first scripted drama because, well, Bravo. But Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce has turned out to be a solid, entertaining series, thanks to star Lisa Edelstein’s commanding charisma (all those years with Dr. House paid off) and scripting that played it smart by only occasionally dumbing it down (because, again, Bravo). Jettisoning Janeane Garofalo early on and replacing her with the far-more-fun Alanna Ubach certainly helped, and GGTD has been picked up for Season 2. Grab a box of wine and catch up.
