Hello to all you card-cutting, treat-gulping, love-seeking, rose-purchasing, dinner-planning, you-know-single-life-is-less-hectic-than-this enthusiasts! It may not look like ti outside, but it is February, and with the month comes a myriad of holidays and pointless celebrations, including one next Saturday. Personally I like to think back on the classic episode of The Simpsons where Ralph falls for Lisa and the fallout that happens all the way to President's Day. It is by far the episode that always gives me the best and worst feelings all sandwiched together, not to mention the Mediocre Presidents song and thinking about what happened to Johnny. ...Johnny! JOHNNY!!! If you haven't watched it, you should go back as do so.

Normally this post would be reserved for what's happening in events over the next couple of weeks, but I'm still in recoup mode from FanX, as well as scarfing down 18 bags of Valentine's Day M&M's, because those rotten bastards won't get the revitalized Crispy ones to this state for another month, and that's all I needed to make me HAPPY!!! ...Sorry, I have a lot of pent up rage over the most ridiculous of things this weekend. In any case, we'll be back with events in two weeks once I finally figure out what eight hours sleep feels like again. In the meantime, here's a quick list of non-Valentine things to check out.

2/11: Kevin Kirk Benefit Show @ Area 51
2/11: The Bee: True Stories from the Hive @ The Leonardo
2/18: House Party with Mayor Ralph Becker @ Boozetique
2/19: Christopher & Jason Make A Record @ 5 Monkeys
2/20: Dungeons & Comedy: VEGAS NIGHTS @ Sugar Space
2/21: The Masquerade Party @ Utah Arts Festival Gallery
