Three days after 12 people were killed at a French weekly newspaper, Salt Lake City's French community is gathering at the Utah State Capitol Saturday to show support for France and freedom of expression.

The massacre at the newspaper Charlie Hebdo, which was notorious for publishing provocative cartoons, including some that depicted the Prophet Mohammed in an unflattering light, was carried out by a trio of men who some authorities say are Islamic extremists.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and will be held on the south side of the capitol.
