You know damn well The Piano Guys will play "Let It Go" this weekend

Dear GYA, We all know The Piano Guys love to play the classic holiday jingles and they do a great job too, but don't act like they're not gonna tease, even for a second, a few Frozen jams. You know damn well there's gonna be some "Let It Go" in there somewhere....and I seriously can't wait. I'm wearing a tiara as I write this. - Big Mike, Salt Lake City 

Big Mike, well, you're right. They most definitely will be playing some Frozen songs, you can bet your pretty little gown on that. Here's the details for Saturday's show: 

"Utah's favorite dads" The Piano Guys will be at Energy Solutions Arena this Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $27 to $125. 


A few other options for this weekend, starting with Friday's events: 

Stand-up comedian Brain Moote will be at Wiseguys Downtown on Friday and Saturday. There will be 7:30 p.m. shows and 9:30 p.m. shows both nights. Tickets are $12. 

Local rock bands Royal Bliss, American Hitmen and Opal Hill Drive will be at The Royal Friday night at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. 

A Devil Whale of a Christmas! will be happening at Urban Lounge this evening.  Max Pain & The Groovies, The North Valley, Starmy and Pleasure Thieves are also performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. There is no cover!  

California-based alternative band The Sounds of Satellites will be at Kilby Court. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $6. 

Saturday's events: 

The Utah Blues Society Member Appreciation Party will be happening at The State Room (all are welcome). Admission is free. The party starts at 8 p.m. 

Urban Lounge will be hosting their 10th Annual Cocktail Party with DJ Flash & Flare. The party starts at 8 p.m. Admission is free! 

Sunday's events: 

Blues-rock band Tommy Castro and the Painkillers will be at The Egyptian Theatre at 8 p.m. Tickets are $23-$35 in advance, $28-$40 at the door.
