Dear GYA, I like to rock most days of the week, but usually the weekends are the easiest time for me to rock. This morning I found a few minutes between breakfast and my shower in which to rock, but if felt forced and now, as I write this from my office cubicle, I'm left with a hollow feeling that can only be replenished with the power of rock. Anything happening tonight to fulfil my weekly rock quota? - Greg Hosterly, Salt Lake City

Greg, typically I dedicate my 20 minute walk to work for rocking. It's important. Here's some decent rock options for tonight:

All Them Witches will be at The Shred Shed this evening. As City Weekly music editor Kolbie Stonehocker says they sort of fall between "Middle Eastern-inflected folk, and head-bang-worthy stoner/psych-rock." Dwellers, Oxcross and The Well are also performing. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8.

Mexican singer and songwriter Alejandro Escovedo will be on stage at The State Room. Peter Buck is also on the bill. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30.

Syth-pop band Bastille will be at the UCCU Center. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $37.
