Wine Wednesday: Bleu Bistro Bargain South African Wine & Food Social

On Saturday, September 27th, beginning at 7:00 PM, Bleu Bistro will host a unique wine and small plates event featuring South African wines and live music by Lisa Hillary.
The evening will highlight four wines from South Africa along with four smoked small plate dishes. Included in the evening's food and wine pairings will be:
Goats do Roam Goat-Roti 2010 + braised beef short rib wontons with bleu cheese
Man Vintner's Chenin Blanc 2012 + smoked chicken tartlet with fontina cheese, fresh tarragon & tarragon creme
Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc 2013 + smoked & blackened shrimp with creamy bleu cheese polenta
Man Vintner's Pinotage 2011 + smoked pulled pork on ciabatta crostini with habanero & orange BBQ sauce
This should be a really fun and inexpensive evening, a mere $30 per person: small plates/$15 and wine pairings/$15. $30 total for a fun night out? Are you kidding me????!!!!!
