How Many Fights Will Be Incited By Tonight's Eagles Concert?

Remember that 1980 Eagles concert in Long Beach when Glenn Frey and Don Felder spent the whole night onstage threatening each other onstage with the beatings that would commence after the show? Will they be re-enacting that as part of their History of the Eagles show tonight at EnergySolutions Arena, or is it just going to be "Hotel California" on an endless loop?

Hey now, "Hotel California" isn't the Eagles' only song. They've also got "Already Gone," Heartache Tonight," "Best of My Love," "Desperado," "Lyin' Eyes," "Peaceful Easy Feeling," "Tequila Sunrise," "Take It Easy," "Witchy Woman," "New Kid in Town," "One of These Nights" and "Take It to the Limit" ... oh god, even just thinking about all that soft rock really makes me want to fight someone right now. How soon can you get here?

But to answer your question, no; Felder left the band in 2001, so there won't be any onstage fights—just the Eagles' greatest hits, played live. It only costs a few bucks more than driving down the highway listening to those same songs played within a single hour on any Utah classic-rock station.

The adorably named Appleseed Collective is at Burt's Tiki Lounge tonight, with their blend of folksy Americana and sultry jazz. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $6. Expect banjos.

If the start of school has you yearning for the chance to work out your brain, tonight's a good night to catch some Geeks Who Drink pub trivia, happening from Ogden to Midvale and points in between.
