Dear GYA, well, it looks like I'll be taking a leave of absence to focus on some personal issues, like my addiction to smoking crack on camera. Yeah, to be honest, there's nothing quite like that exhilarating rush of smoking on a crack pipe while being recorded. But, hey, that's all behind me now. Singer Ellie Goulding will be at the Great Saltair tonight. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40.
Provo-based post-punk band Salazar will be at Kilby Court this evening. Nick Neihart and Andrew Goldring are also on the bill. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6.
Indie-rock band The Dodos will be at Urban Lounge. Holy Water Buffalo will warm things up. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12.
