Glad You Asked: Steel Pulse, Sevendust & Temples

Dear GYA, So Meb Keflezighi is the first American to win the Boston Marathon since 1983. Hmmm. I'm sorry, but his name doesn't sound very American. Would it be too much to ask if we demanded a copy of his birth certificate? Or, at least asked him to change his name to Mel Kezlinski? Anyway, anything happening today where I can chant USA USA USA?! - Brandon Fromer, Midvale---

Brandon, uuurgh, you birthers need to seriously shut up. Here's what's up for tonight:

Alternative metal band Sevendust will be play an acoustic set  at The Complex tonight. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $26 in advance. 

Legendary reggae band Steel Pulse will be at The Depot this evening. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. Ticket are $25. 

British psychedelic rock band Temples will be on stage at Urban Lounge.  The Drowners are also on the bill. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
