Dear GYA, For the record, back in 2001, I never officially changed my name to P. Diddy, Diddy or Diddilicious. In fact, I've always been Puff Daddy...except for when I went by Sean John, Sean Combs, Puff, Puffy, Sir Puff of Puffington, Poppadiddypop and King Combs. Oh, and that one time I was Swag for one week.  Anything happening today more significant than a Puff Daddy name change? - Puff Daddy---

Puff Daddy, nothing says publicity stunt like changing your name. But, whatever, it worked and it's good to see you go back to your roots. Here's what's up for today...

Brooklyn-based indie band Yellow Ostrich will be at Urban Lounge tonight. Pattern is Movement is also on the bill. Tickets are $10. The show start sat 8 p.m.

Latina rapper Snow Tha Product will be on stage at The Complex this evening. Caskey, Writtyn, Honey and DJ Poetik Cee are also performing. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.

Post-hardcore band Alesana will be at In The Venue. Get Scared, Hearts & Hands, Farewell, My Love and Megosh to Town will warm things up. The show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $16.
