Dear GYA, Now that Spring is officially here, it's important to remember that for allergy sufferers, plants are our mortal enemies and that we should do whatever it takes to destroy these pesky little pieces of shit. Chains, whips, fire, curb-stomps--whatever it takes, we can't let the allergy-lovin' weeds win the pollen war. Anything happening today besides dying from pollen? - Frank Tobapo, West Valley City---

Frank, Damn straight. I also think pollen is the worst, that's why every morning I spend a half hour punching weeds in their stupid, smug faces before I go to work. Here's what's up for today:

Legendary singer/songwriter Martin Sexton will be at Park City Live. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25-$50.

Stand-up comedian and actor Pauly Shore will be at Wiseguys West Valley this evening. There will be two shows, one at 7:30 p.m. and another at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $22.

Indie rock duo Mr. Gnome will be on stage at Urban Lounge tonight. Heaps & Heaps and Big Wild Wings will warm it up. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.
