March is roaring in with album-release shows; in fact, we've got four for you over the next few days. --- But first up is the only online release, which belongs to Dekai—the solo project of electronic musician Derek Page who has a knack for the ambient and pop-oriented. If life had a video-game soundtrack, he'd definitely be composing the music you'd find in towns and neighboring villages. So far, the man has only put out a couple of EPs, first being Castles & Kingdoms in December 2012 and 2013's Alchemies & Geometries in July. Coming up on Saturday, he'll make live his latest EP, titled Era, which he's been keeping closely guarded from the public. You'll just have to check out his Bandcamp page on Saturday to download it.

Going into the shows, first up we have the debut album from Brad Hart. You might know Hart from his other bands like Spectral Skies and NoNoYesYes, and more recently playing indie-folk with backing band The Lopez Massacre, which has been playing for less than a year now. For his solo record, Hart decided to keep it completely solo as he recorded all the instruments on%uFFFDSego Lily%uFFFDhimself. You can either snag it online for $7 on his Bandcamp, or get a physical copy at Diabolical Records today as he plays his release show there along with Jawwzz!!, NSPS and Portland, Ore., band Love Cop. The show kicks off at 8 p.m.

Down the road at Bar Deluxe, we'll see the latest release from Breaux. The four-piece rock band (seen above, courtesy of their Facebook) have been a staple in Utah for nearly a decade, bringing the metal to your ears until they bleed from awesomeness. But it's been a spell since we've seen anything from the band in the form of an album, or even a single of some kind. However, they’ve kept busy, and now it's time for their latest release, titled Black Wolf. From what little I've heard, this album kicks a lot of ass and shows they've still got the chops to put together a killer record. This will probably be a hard contender for best metal album of 2014. You can get a copy tonight at Bar Deluxe as they play their release show with Tiger Fang and Temples. Tickets are just $5, and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Moving onto Saturday night, Velour will play host to the release show for indie/pop songwriter Richie Kissinger. Kissinger has been super active in the Provo scene over the past year, working with a five-piece group and doing his best to bring the house down as a mid-card act. In 2013 he released an EP titled 8, but finding it is a challenge for anyone outside of Utah County. This weekend, he'll be releasing his second EP, Untouchable, which none of the music has been released for. You can pick up a copy at the show tomorrow as he plays with The Brocks and I/O. Tickets are just $8, and the show kicks off at 8 p.m.

And finally, while we're at Velour, let's skip a few days down the calendar to March 12, where we'll see the latest release from David Charles. That name might sound vaguely familiar to people who are into the singer/songwriter scene, as Charles used to play under the moniker Spiral Diary for a few years before switching over to his regular name. More recently, he's been a touring guitarist for Neon Trees. Charles has released a few albums under both names, the most recent being the self-titled full-length in 2011. Recently, he launched a Kickstarter to help fund his new full-length, Four, which hit iTunes on Valentine's Day. Now, the physical copy is getting a release show this Wednesday at Velour as Charles plays with John Allred, Adam Derfler and Davey. The show kicks off at 8 p.m., and tickets are just $6.
