Mick, Also consider riding your bike, standing in front of a microwave on a daily basis and smoking copious amounts of marijuana. Here are a few things happening today that more than likely won't get anyone pregnant:
Texas-based rock group Band of Heathens will be on stage at the The State Room this evening. The Weekenders will open things up. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
Brewvies and KRCL will be showing a special screening of the film Beastie Boys: Awesome I Shot That tonight on the big screen. There will be two screenings, at 7 and 9. Tickets are $7.
The Indie Ogden Awards will be going down at the Union Station Museum. Amir Jackson of Nurture the Creative Mind and Richie T from X96 will be tonight's hosts. Tickets are $20. The show starts at 6.
