Dear GYA, Am I the only one who feels an overwhelming urge to karate punch Jimmy Fallon in the nortons? I mean, it's generally accepted that he's extremely annoying, right? Is there anything happening today better than Jimmy Fallon's highly punchable "Aww, gee whiz" mannerisms? - Kevin Margoni, Rose Park---
Kevin, What are you talking about?! I love Jimmy Fallon and his "13-year-old trapped in the bloated body of a 35-year-old" antics. Also, who says nortons? Here's what's up for today:
At the Salt Palace, the 27th Annual Great Salt Lake Chili Affair, Three Bean Circus will be going down. Tickets start at $42. Children 12 and under are free. The chili tastin' starts at 5:30 p.m.
Jared Leto and his band of hunky bros, Thirty Seconds To Mars, will be at the Great Saltair this evening. New Politics will open things up. The show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $33.
Philly-based experimental band Man Man will be at Urban Lounge tonight. Xenia Rubinos is also on the bill. The doors open at 8. Tickets are $12.
