Dear GYA, We at McDonald's are thrilled to announce our newest, boldest chicken creation -- the delicious Mighty Wing. Yes, the Mighty Wing is positioned to wow chicken fanatics with an exciting new feature: a bone.--- That's right, this bone technology will let our customers know that their chicken actually came from a bird ... or, to be more specific, a delicious bird-like animal covered in fried bread. Anything happening today better than a Mighty Wing? - Bill Murphul, McDonald's franchise owner

Bill, I'm actually pretty pumped McDonald's will start carrying wings again. Also, I'm thinking this "bone" you speak of will be an excellent way to deliver chicken skin to my face, because, let's be honest, that's what we're talking about here. Here's what's up for today:

It's the last Wednesday of the month, which means tonight is City Weekly's Free Movie Night at Brewvies. Join The Word for free swag and a chance to catch Ferris Bueller's Day Off on the big screen. The show starts at 7:30. Admission is free.

Legendary soul and r&b singer Charles Bradley will be at The State Room this evening. Aaradhna will open things up. The show starts at 8. Tickets are $22.

The Burning Ghats will be on stage at Urban Lounge tonight. Tickets are $6. The show starts at 8.
