State regulators had to suspend a Salina doctor's license, based on problems with his license in Mississippi, while another doctor has had his licenses to practice medicine and prescribe controlled substances reinstated with full privileges.---
According to the Utah Division of Occupational Licensing's most recent disciplinary newsletter, Doctor Kerry Blackham, of Salina, had his license suspended until he is able to “obtain a fitness of duty letter based on evaluations conducted at Pine Grove in Mississippi.”
Another doctor, Michael Scott Roundy, had his licenses placed on probation in 2010 for having a romantic relationship with a patient that he also prescribed controlled substances to. Roundy has now completed probation, and as of July 18, 2003, has had his full licenses and privileges reinstated.
