Dear GYA, I’m freakin’ out, man. The House’s attempt
to rein in the NSA failed, and now, man, I’m like, freakin’ out. I need to do
something -- like, something where I can leave my cell phone, I mean, tracking device, at home, get off
the grid and, like, enjoy some slack lining in the park or something. – Harry

Harry, I know this NSA stuff is pretty scary, and the fact
that the House voted to maintain its power is even scarier, but here are some
ideas to get you out of the house, and into the world:
The Gallivan Center is screening Who Framed Roger Rabbit? The movie begins at dusk, or around 8:30, and admission is free.
Utah Botanical Center is hosting cupcake night. Learn fun decorating techniques and new recipes, too. The class starts at 6:30, costs $3-10 and you get to decorate your own cupcake to take home.
It’s also Film Buff Night at Brewvies. Tonight’s show is Bull Durham, it starts at 10, and it’s free!
