First, it was the season finale of Game of Thrones, then it was Mad Men, and the second half of Breaking Bad’s season five is still a month away. So, I did what any TV junkie would do and binged on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black. Now, it’s all over, and I am again left with a TV-viewing void in my life. Without my shows, my days are empty. – Steven Royborgson, West Valley---

Steven, I know it can be hard to invest your time and build a bond with TV shows only to have them leave you alone after their season ends. But, fear not, here are some ideas to help you fill your time until their return:

It’s hard to replace the carnage-filled craze of GoT, but perhaps the ethnic music and dance of Tablado Dance Company, a flamenco troupe, will soothe the loss you’ve been feeling since the “Red Wedding.” Bring your picnic and lawn chairs to Liberty Park for the free 7 p.m. show.

Missing Mad Men? Get your 1960s-Americana fix with Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo at the Gallivan Center. Admission is free, and the film starts at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.).

If the suspense of not knowing what the second half of Breaking Bad’s final season will bring is stressing you out, then grab a beer at Brewvies Film Buff Night, which features a different film every Monday night. Tonight, it's Cool Hand Luke, the show starts at 10, and best of all, it’s free!
