Dear GYA, Today is the day we find out out what all the hoopla is with this new Dunkin' Donuts store in downtown Salt Lake City. You know, as Utahns, it's our duty to completely lose our minds over any new franchise that comes within our borders---, camp out the night before and, hopefully, if we're lucky, do a man-on-the-street testimony for a local TV station. That's what being a good Utahn is all about, my man. Anything happening today better than a brand-new doughnut franchise? - Mark Washburnelly, Draper
Mark, No. Nothing is better. I'm currently waiting in a five-day line to get inside this Dunkin' Donuts. Anyway, here's what's happening today:
Nashville-based indie band Paper Route will be onstage at Urban Lounge tonight. Tickets are $10. The show starts at 9.
Hardcore band the Manchurian Incident will be at Shred Shed. This all-ages show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $6.
At Kilby Court, pop-punk bands MoneyPenny, Save The World Get The Girl, Insight and Acclimate Theory will be performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $6.
