Glad You Asked: Aesop Rock, SOJA and Todd Snider

Dear GYA, Damn it, is everybody on crazy pills?! In Back to the Future II, Marty McFly arrives in the future on Oct 21, 2015 -- not today's date, or any other date, for that matter! I swear, it feels like every month somebody posts an Internet meme with the wrong date, followed by a "Where's my hoverboard?" joke. If I see one more meme with the wrong Back to the Future date on it, I'm gonna lose my damned mind. - Marsha Brown, Riverdale---

Marsha, I've been waiting patiently for the year 2015 my entire life. I can't stand people who think we're supposed to have hoverboards right this instant. We still have two years to go, everyone. In the meantime, here are some things that will keep you occupied:

Prolific Rhymesayers Entertainment rapper Aesop Rock will be onstage at The Urban Lounge tonight. Rob Sonic, Busdriver and DJ Big Wiz are also on the bill. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $20. 

Reggae band SOJA will be performing at The Depot this evening. Rootz Underground and Los Rakas will warm things up. The show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $28. 

At The State Room, country crooner Todd Snider will be onstage. Great American Taxi is also performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35.
