Spring Awakening: The University of Utah Theatre Department presents the controversial musical by Steven Sater and Duncan Sheikh, based on the Frank Wedekind play. Set in 19th-century Germany, it follows a group of teenagers struggling against the sexual morality of the era. Performances run April 12 - 28 at the Babcock Theatre (lower level of the Pioneer Memorial Theatre building), 7:30 p.m. with select 2 p.m. weekend matinees; tickets $15 general admission.
