Dear GYA, I'm so excited that KFC will be launching a new boneless chicken on April 14. As a part-time vegan, I refuse to eat anything with a bones in it, so this is great news. One another note, why do chickens even need bones, anyway? Aren't bones just a garnish? Fish already come in stick form. Anyway, anything happening today while we wait for KFC to break the barriers of science? - Mike Poutine---

Mike, You're absolutely correct. KFC should actually take it a step further and just design a chicken with only that tasty skin -- who needs the meat? Here's what's up for today:

Folk-blues artist Charlie Parr will be at Urban Lounge tonight. The Puddle Jumpers and the Tony Holiday Band are also on the bill. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $8.

Chicago-based indie-band Kids These Days will be at Kilby Court. The show starts at 7 p.m.

At Art Access Gallery, check out the new installation Biomimicry. For more info, click here
