Glad You Asked: Advent Horizon, Dead Winter Carpenters

Dear GYA, Since I'm not Catholic, I have a couple of questions about this pope business that's been going on today. For starters, is the pope Catholic? Because if he's not, that's stupid. Also, what's with all that white smoke? Are they burning the old pope's stuff? Let me tell you, my ex did that and he's a total dick. Heather, No one really knows what goes on behind those closed doors at the Sistine Chapel. Some say that's where they pick the next contestants for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Here's what's happening today:
Local rock band Advent Horizon will be onstage at Kilby Court tonight at 7. Of Earth Inside and Squash will open things up. Tickets are $6.
Americana band the Dead Winter Carpenters will be at The State Room. Fruition will be warming it up. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12.
At The Urban Lounge, check out reggae bands The Tribe of I, Wasnatch and The Hemptations, starting at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5.
