Nature Photos in Vegas, of All Places

Everyone knows about all of the bright lights, card games, splashy shows and all-night clubs in Las Vegas. It’s also a great place to see excellent photography. The Imagine Exhibitions Gallery at the Venetian will be hosting a new exhibition: 50 Greatest Photographs of National Geographic. ---

Visitors will be able to see iconic images from throughout the magazine's history in a new light-- think Nick Nichols' famous photo of Jane Goodall with a chimpanzee, Steve McCurry's "Afghan Girl", and more. Documentary videos, additional photos from the featured shoots and biographies of the photographers add depth to photos that have become part of the cultural imagination, and allow you to travel the world from the gallery.

You only have to walk next door to the Shoppes at the Palazzo for more great photography at the Natural Wonders Gallery: the landscapes of Robert Park, wild life of Art Wolfe and the flowers of Robert Rotella.

Of course, you’ll still have plenty of time to hit all the things Vegas is famous for.
