Dear GYA, OK, that ought to do it. Yup, just finished stockpiling a year's worth of McRibs in my parent's basement because you can never be too cautious when it comes to preparing for the Mayan Apocalypse. More importantly, you never really know when McDonald's is gonna take away the those delicious McRibs.  Now that I'm prepared for both, anything going on today? - Henry Feedington, Sandy---

Henry, Preparation is always key. I still have McRibs stored up from last year. Here's what's up for today:

The Rose Wagner Center will be hosting KUER and Plan B's Radio Hour: Episode 7. This live radio drama tells the tale of Sir Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, with the company of an audience. Tonight is the seventh episode, entitled Sherlock Holmes and The Blue Carbuncle. Show starts at 7.

Zappa Plays Zappa will be at The Depot tonight. Dweezil Zappa, with his stellar backup band, unleashes many of the off-the-wall compositions by his father in Zappa Plays Zappa. This tour, they will be playing a selection of material from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, as well as some new material. The show starts at 9.

The downtown Main Library will be showing a free screening of Detroit Wild City. The film compiles historical footage and interviews with the city’s residents while exploring the rise and fall of Detroit, the city that was once the most industrialized in the United States. The show starts at 7 p.m.

A few more options for today:

- Soul-funk band Red Rock Hot Club at Gracie's, starting at 9 p.m.

- A capella group Voice Male will be performing at Thanksgiving Point tonight at 7:30.

- Geeks Who Drink pub trivia will be at Maggie McGee's at 8 p.m.
