The Salt Lake City Council will consider a number of budget adjustment items at Tuesday night’s meeting including studying fire service citywide and at Fire Station No. 3 in Sugar House, along with a number of other issues.---
When the city council meets Tuesday, they’ll have their eye on moving money to support studies to help city services. The agenda includes possible studies of wetlands mitigation at the Jordan River Soccer Complex area, fire services in the city and the possibility of a new crime lab and storage facility.
The council will also look at other business including rezoning areas in the North Temple Boulevard area (548 W. 300 North and 375 N. and 500 West) from a light-manufacturing zone to Transit Area Station-Urban Center, as part of city planners' move to create more urban-friendly mixed uses around the TRAX station areas there.
