Dear GYA, I'm proud to say I voted today. Yeah, I got up bright and early and exercised my patriotic duty by choosing between an Obama or Romney Big Gulp cup at 7-Eleven. I'm so glad they give you a 32 oz. beverage rather than those stupid "I voted stickers." I feel like a true American.--- Anything going on today to celebrate the red, white and blue? - Keith Walleye, Sugar House

Keith, I can't wait till 7-11 does the final cup count. Until then, here are some solid party options for Election Day:

Starting at 4 p.m., head over to Brewvies Cinema Pub to watch the election results on the big screen. Be aware, there will be a short break to watch True TV's free weekly screening of Sons of Anarchy at 8 p.m., then it'll be right back to Election coverage.

Metro Bar will be throwing a Rockband the Vote Party tonight. As part of its weekly Metrocade party, voters can enjoy free video games while the election results are rolling in. To celebrate 'Merica, there will also be $3 Fireballs, Jim Beams and tequila all night. The party starts at 9 p.m.

Lumpy's Downtown will be hosting its weekly Karaoke tonight combined with live election results on the flat-screens downstairs in the game room. That means, you'd better be prepared to sing lots of Skynyrd, The Boss and maybe even some Kid Rock. The party starts at 9 p.m.

A few non-election-themed events:

- Indie band Minus The Bear will be at The Depot, starting at 7:30 p.m.

- Club Elevate will be hosting the L-R-G Clothing Snowboard Season Kick-Off Party featuring rappers Freddie Gibbs and Mac Lethal. Plus, City Weekly's The Word will be there handing out free swag.Doors open at 10 p.m.

- Comedy Roadkill at The Complex will be going down at 7:30 p.m.
