Salt Lake City residents are invited once again to schedule a 10-minute meeting with Mayor Ralph Becker to talk about any municipal issue under the sun, from TRAX construction to bike lanes.---
As part of the mayor’s open-door meetings, residents are now free to schedule a 10-minute block to meet with Becker on Wednesday, Nov. 16 between 4 and 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to talk city issues, and not speak of any legal matters before the city or seek the appeal of a decision by a city committee or department.
You might not be able to protest a parking ticket but you can talk with Becker about policy to improve your city. Residents can schedule their meeting by visiting the Mayor’s office in person at the Salt Lake City & County Building, 451 S. State, or by calling 801-535-7704.
