Fall Break in Park City

If you're still looking to head out of town for UEA break but don't know where to go, it's not too late to plan a Park City adventure. There's lots to do and see before the city gets crowded by ski season and Sundance, and it's the last hurrah for some fun seasonal attractions. ---

Try the Newpark Hotel Resort is a great home base for your getaway. It sits in the New Park Center and next to the Redstone Shopping Mall. Both places in the Kimball Junction area are surrounded by plenty of shopping and dining opportunities. Blue Sky Adventures still offers a variety of fall horseback riding options, including the sunrise ride or the “pony express.”  Don't forget that it's almost Halloween! You can get in the spooky spirit with Park City Ghost Tours, a 70-minute tour around historic downtown Park City that runs every night at 8 pm.

Hit the slops before the snow, this is one of the last weekends to enjoy the Alpine Slide, zipline, Alpine Coaster and lots of other fun outdoor attractions at Park City Mountain Resort. For those with a more artistic bent, the Paint Mixer can help you create your own master piece by guiding you through creating your own painting. The Paint Mixer also offers kids' and family programs. 

Park City is always known for great good. Try Slopes at the Waldorf Astoria for a short-rib grilled cheese sandwich or Buffalo chili. Good Karma, one of the hidden gems located in the Prospector area, offers Indo-Persian cuisine with a variety of curry and kebab options - so many it can be hard to decide what to get. In that situation, they've got you covered with combo plates for two or more like the Begumi Platter or Char Fasi Platter.

Head to Park City before the snow flies and the deals are still great.
