Occupy SLC Hosting Forum on Raising Minimum Wage

Occupy SLC is hosting a forum Saturday on a bottom-up stimulus idea to counter the trickle-down economics popular among conservatives—raising the minimum wage.---
It’s an idea no one is talking about, but Occupy SLC members and others are hoping to start a dialogue in this country that raising the current minimum wage of $7.25 an hour could help reinvigorate the economy and at the same time help low-income workers survive and thrive in the tough economy.
