That’s the case with Yellowstone’s “Frosty Fun” packages being offered by Xanterra Parks and Resorts, which runs the in-park lodging at Yellowstone. The two-night stay packages include a “Snow Card” that gets you 10 percent off food, tours and services. The packages run Jan. 1-March 3, 2013.
The Old Faithful Snow Lodge package includes round-trip “snowcoach” transportation, since the only National Park Service-approved way to get there during the winter is over the snow. The Old Faithful package and Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel also include two breakfasts per person, welcome gift and unlimited use of skates and ice skating. The Mammoth deal starts at $135 per person double occupancy while the Old Faithful deal starts at $319 per person double occupancy.
Yellowstone during the winter is an amazingly beautiful place without all the summer crowds. Here’s your chance to take advantage of it.
