TV Tonight: Parenthood, Sons of Anarchy

What’s new on the tele-time-sucker tonight:

Parenthood (NBC) Season Premiere: Get those hankies out—the Bravermans are back! ---Of the far-too-many weepy storylines being batted around in Season 4, here’s the weirdest: Ray Romano has a guest arc as a potential new boyfriend for … Sarah (Lauren Graham). What, was Michael Richards already booked?

Sons of Anarchy (FX) 90-Minute Season Premiere: Jax is in charge of SAMCRO, Tara’s turned into a functional stoner, Opie wants out, Clay’s the new Piney, and Gemma … well, just wait till you see what Peg Bundy’s getting into (and vice-versa). If the Parents Television Council thought last season was too heavy on the violence and sex, Season 5 is going to give ‘em an aneurysm—an awesome, awesome aneurysm. Everybody else, come to Brewvies Cinema Pub (677 S. 200 West; +21) to watch the season premiere of SOA for free on the big screen, 8 pm.
