Step Out Against Diabetes Saturday

In over 160 cities across the country, people are saying “Let’s Dia-Beat-This!” by taking part in the American Diabetes Association’s 5k walk and run to fundraise for a cure for diabetes.---
Every year, the American Diabetes Association provides $34 million in direct research grants to scientists looking to find a cure for diabetes that affects millions of Americans every year. This year, step out against the disease by taking part in the Step Out 5k run or walk. The event is free, but donations for the cause are greatly appreciated.
Check it out, Saturday, Sept. 8, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at Liberty Park, 700 E. 900 South
