Dear GYA, Did Mitt Romney and I just become best friends? I mean, we do have tons of stuff in common. For one, we both have perfect hair, we both think taxes are stupid and all of our favorite peeps are corporations. Even if we don't win this election thingy, I've got a feeling we'll be BFFs no matter what. Anything happening tonight we could ride our tandem bike to? -Paul Ryan

Paul, nothing consummates a great BFF relationship like a tandem-bike ride. Here are some good ideas for this evening:

The rumba-infused Gipsy Kings will be performing at Red Butte Garden this evening. Even though they have a very distinct sound, their website reads, “There is only one band that has made worldwide hits out of songs such as ‘Bomboleo,’ ‘Volare,’ ‘Djobi, Djoba’ and more. The name of that band is Gipsy Kings. There are imitators. Please be wary.” The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Kairo By Night will be onstage at the Monday In The Park Concert Series at Liberty Park. The band was featured on the soundtrack for the Discovery Channel documentary Restorations of the Sphinx and has been awarded the International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance trophy for Best New Album. The show starts at 7 p.m.

The World Stage! Concert Series will be hosting the World Travelers at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. "Since 2009, WorldStage! concert series has presented folk musicians and dancers from around the world. The Utah Cultural Celebrations Center is pleased to continue its partnership with Bountiful Davis Art Center is 2012 by presenting folk music and dance traditions from Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Siberia, and France." The show starts at 8 p.m.

A few other worthwhile events:

- The always-free Lunch Bunch Concert Series will be going down at the Gallivan Center, beginning at noon.

- For some pub trivia, check out Geeks Who Drink at Devils Daughter Bar and Grill, starting at 8 p.m.

- Jauna Ghani will be performing at the City & County Building at 12:15 p.m.
