Dear GYA, I can't tell you how relieved I was when I found out the goat man spotted near Ogden was actually just some crazed hunter in a goat suit. I mean, really, now I can sleep at night knowing that instead of  actual" goat men" roaming the hills, there are just armed men in goat masks. Well, anything happening today now that I'm not afraid to leave my house? - Bill Billingsworth, Ogden

Bill, we are all relieved. I'll be the first to admit it -- I spent last weekend patrolling my house in a wolf costume. Seriously, I'm so glad that's over with. Here's what's good today:

Brewvies and City Weekly will be showing a free screening of Little Miss Sunshine. This Oscar-nominated film is a dark comedy about a dysfunctional family determined to drive their daughter across the country for a beauty pageant. Check in with The Word for some free swag and prizes! The show starts at 8 p.m.

The Utah Symphony's presentation of The French Connection will be going on at St. Mary's Church tonight. Forget the movie of the same name, this evening is dedicated to nothing but French composers, covering Faure's Pavane, Gounod's Symphony No. 1, Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, Debussy's Clair de lune and Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin.  Tres bien! The show starts at 8 p.m.

Arguably the geekiest night of the week is Wednesday at Lucky 13. Every week, this downtown spot is the home of the Big Shiny Geek Show Pub Quiz hosted by Bryan Young and Shannon Barnson. Basically, it's a trivia competition that covers everything from politics, sports and, of course, nerdlore. The quizzin' starts at 8 p.m.

Other worthwhile events going down tonight:

- At Lone Peak Park, check out a free screening of the film The Blindside, starting at 9 p.m.

- The Salt Lake Bees are taking on the Sacramento River Cats at 7:05 p.m.

- At noon, the Park City Farmers Market will be happening at Canyons Resort.
