Glad You Asked: Greece, Cowboys and the '90s

Dear GYA, You know what they say: "Mo money, mo problems." Was I trying to skip out of the U.S. to skim a few bucks on taxes? Of course. Listen, if you had chedda stacks like this, you'd do the same thing -- am I right?! It's tough being the 1 percent. Everyday, I gotta pay taxes on beer, taxes on my house, taxes on my miniature lap giraffe. Damn, anything happening today that I don't have to pay taxes on? - Eduardo Saverin, Facebook co-founder---
Eduardo, I know what you're saying. I am so sick of having to report all of my miniature-exotic-animal purchases on my taxes. It's getting really old. Well, there's some good stuff going on today but I can't guarantee it's tax-free:
- For a taste of all the old Southwest, check out BYU Museum of Art's exhibit People In a Hard Land. As one of three installations by curator Paul Anderson, the exhibit has over 80 works of art portraying the hardships of the first people to settle the harsh Utah landscape.
- '90s nostalgia is in full effect at the Nox Contemporary. Painter and sculptor Neil Hadlock's exhibit 1990 to Now is a vast collection of the pieces spanning over 20 years of the Idaho native's career. Click the link for more info.
- On Main St., the Off Broadway Theatre will be presenting Greece is the Word. It's an ancient approach to a timeless theme: teenagers. This comedy looks to remind us that no matter what day or age we live in, teenagers will always be ridiculous.
