Dear GYA, Is it just me, or does it seems like everyone wants to talk about my gigantic ripped jeans? Isn't that messed up? It's like, I'm out here doin' my thing, and people be all like, "Yo Mike, whaddup wit dem ripped jeans?" Maybe I'm stuck in the '90s but I think they're comfortable. Anything happening today where people won't make fun of my jeans?- Michael Jordan

Mike, you can wear whatever you want, you're the Airman. If you want to wear ripped raver pants, that's your decision. Besides, I can't see you wearing skinny jeans, anyway. Here are some events today that might be hater-free:

The funky glitch sampler Gramatik will be dropping some bass-y sounds at Urban Lounge at 9 p.m. As one of the latest to sign to Pretty Lights Music, Gramatik's DJ sets are diverse and deep, often skirting the line between trip-hop, dubstep and funk. Steezo and Crisis are also on the bill. Tickets are going for $15.

Head to Pioneer Memorial Theatre for the theatrical production of Man of La Mancha. It's the story of legendary lady's man Don Quixote as told by the author, who's rotting away in a Spanish prison -- a classic tale of romantic ideals, and artistic director Charles Morley's swan song.. The curtains go up at 7:30 p.m.

The 24Tix office will be hosting the visual art installation Happy Accidents all day today. Inspired by PBS artist Bob Ross, 22 local artists followed Ross's instructional art series The Joy of Painting and created their own "happy little mountains." There's a $5 suggested donation.

A few more worthwhile events:

- At 9 p.m., Metalheads RiotGod and company will be performing at Burt's Tiki Lounge.

- Empress Theatre in Magna will be showing Blithe Spirit tonight at 7:30 p.m.

- Good ol'-fashioned pub trivia with Geeks Who Drink at Devil's Daughter, beginning at 8 p.m.
